Eric Hymowitz is an experienced business leader and the president/owner of ROC Homes, a Houston-based residential construction company known for its trademark “1st Floor Lifestyle” home designs. Since founding the company in 2002, Eric Hymowitz has guided its growth by delivering thoughtfully designed homes in desirable neighborhoods. The business has earned multiple honors from the Greater Houston Builders Association.
Before launching ROC Homes, Mr. Hymowitz spent three years as vice president of finance at KB Home Corporation. There, he contributed to a management team that successfully completed more than 1,500 residential construction projects in a single year. He further assimilated two middle-market construction companies into KB Homes.
Eric Hymowitz previously held roles as division controller at Lennar Corporation and senior associate at Price Waterhouse Coopers. These early experiences built a strong foundation in finance, operations, and organizational leadership. He is a longstanding member of the Greater Houston Builders Association and the National Association of Builders.
Mr. Hymowitz holds a BS in business management from Tulane University, where he was active in the Residence Hall Association and played on the men’s soccer team. Committed to his community, he supports his employees’ favorite charities, his synagogue, and youth sports. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports and playing games with his family.
